• Collaborate with training providers to design or adapt learning programmes to enable the award of Credit.
• Advise on accredited employer based training.
• Provide information on sector developments
• Encourage partnerships between the community and voluntary sector and mainstream education provision.
• Assist and support Consortia development
• Help to accredit learning wherever it takes place:
  - Schools
  - The work place
  - Community and voluntary organisations
  - Private and public sector organisations
  - Further Education
  - Prisons
  - Youth Service
  - Healthcare sector
  - Outdoor Activities

• Assist organisations in ensuring they have the appropriate quality assurance mechanisms in place
• Provide on-going support to all recognised centres
• Offer information updates on current issues
