The original IT units within the progression qualification are no longer valid. These units were displaced by units developed by e-skills as part of the ITQ suite.
E-skills as the sector skills council for this area of study have stated that only these units may now be used in qualifications. These new ITQ units are now available within the progression qualifications and can be viewed and downloaded from the downloads section on this webiste or as part of the Progression Qualification Handbook available on the NOCN website. As these units were developed by e-skills they may seem unfamiliar to those of you used to traditional OCN units.
We can arrange for local accreditation of the original units if requested but it is important to note that these would not count toward the credit target for the Progression Qualifications.
