Annual Centre Recognition Fee
This is an annual fee banded according to the volume of learners registered during the previous year. The minimum charge for new organisations is £550.00, payable on receipt of the Centre Recognition Application this includes the Centre Recognition fee £275 and £275 to be offset against accreditation within the academic year. The minimum charge is applied to all Band A organisations

The Centre Recognition Fee covers:
·        Access to recognised OCN units and qualifications recognised by the National Open College
         Network (NOCN) and approved by QCA;
·       Support for the centre in completing the centre recognition application;
·        Support and advice on curriculum development and accreditation administration;
·        Up to two visits per year to verify centre compliance and the award of credit;
·        Production of a Centre Quality improvement plan*;
·        Access to a range of staff development sessions including practitioner meetings
         and subject forums facilitated by OCN East Midlands Region

 *Where this plan indicates issues are such that extra visits are required to ensure centre compliance or where the verification of the award of credit makes it necessary the OCN will charge £250 for each visit or verification activity

Learner Registration Fees

Learner fees are based on the course credit target. This fee is levied at the point of registration, achievement beyond the course target will be charged on certification

This fees structure is used for most NOCN Qualifications; where external assessment is a feature of a NOCN Qualification an additional charge is applied. Details of fees for NOCN Qualifications can be obtained from www.nocn.org.uk.    

A late fee of £12 per learner will be applied to registrations received after the specified deadline in the late registration policy. 

The fee for a replacement certificate is £25. 

Consultancy
Additional services including unit writing and development consultancy is available at a fee of £250 half day and £500 full day. Please contact your Curriculum Development Manager to discuss your requirements. 

In the event of non-payment of accounts the OCN reserves the right to withdraw Centre Recognition and to suspend registrations.
